This systematization was worked out by an external team not involved in the actual experience of the project. Several members of the technical team of HABITAR joined in by supplying information, logistic support, participating in discussions and providing their knowledge, their contacts and points of view during the process. The contributions received were of great value for the systematization process and its conclusions. We would like to highlight the participation of the members of the Manos Unidas Cooperative and the technical staff of the City Hall who were linked directly to the process, as well as Mr. Levy Suárez, manager of the Municipal Services Department of the 5th District. The systematization of the experience with the Alternate System for the Domestic Collection of Solid Waste (SARDRS) was carried out from January to June of 2011.
