Intern Solid Waste
Emmanuel Amungwa holds an Advanced level diploma in Geography, Economics and History from the English High School Yaoundé in Cameroon and is currently studying Leisure Management at Hogeschool Inholland Diemen Amsterdam.
He has various experiences in the sector of community development in developing countries (Africa) in the field of management and research of agricultural and environmental projects. Before joining WASTE, he has worked as a project officer in an NGO in Cameroon, working on coffee, palm oil and sustainable environment projects.
His speciality is in the field of strategic management, local community development, communication and event management. Emmanuel’s key strength is his ability to understand the situation of the local community and engaging them in the process of finding sustainable solutions.
Currently, Emmanuel is supporting waste in the implementation of the project between VNGI and the four Haitian municipalities, to reconstruct their waste systems including communication with the citizen in relation to waste and recycling. He will be working on the baseline of the four cities.
